At ZoneLight, we believe your training data is yours and yours alone. We designed our app with privacy as a fundamental principle, not an afterthought.

ZoneLight does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, training data, or usage analytics.

What Data We Don't Collect

To be crystal clear, ZoneLight does not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, location)
• Training data (power output, heart rate, zone information)
• Device information (Bluetooth device names, LED configurations)
• Usage analytics (app opens, feature usage, session duration)
• Crash reports or diagnostic data
• IP addresses or network information
• Any other personally identifiable information

How ZoneLight Works

All app functionality happens entirely on your device:

• Bluetooth connections to power meters and heart rate monitors are local to your device
• LED light control happens directly via Bluetooth - no cloud services involved
• Zone configurations and preferences are stored only on your device
• No data is ever transmitted to our servers or any third-party services

Because all processing happens locally, ZoneLight works perfectly without an internet connection. Your training data never leaves your device.

Bluetooth Permissions

ZoneLight requires Bluetooth permissions to connect to your power meters, heart rate monitors, and LED strips. These connections are:

• Direct device-to-device connections
• Managed entirely by iOS
• Not monitored, logged, or transmitted by ZoneLight

Microphone Permission (Music Mode)

If you use Music Mode, ZoneLight requires microphone access to analyze audio for LED visualization. This audio:

• Is processed in real-time on your device only
• Is never recorded, stored, or transmitted
• Is converted to visual data and immediately discarded

Note: Music Mode is not available in the current version of ZoneLight.

Third-Party Services

ZoneLight does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We don't use:

• Analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• Advertising networks
• Crash reporting services
• Social media integration

Children's Privacy

ZoneLight does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. Our commitment to privacy applies to all users regardless of age.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this policy and the "Last Updated" date. However, our core commitment to not collecting your data will remain unchanged.
